Tomorrow (Sept 23), Varietal Records will be releasing a new solo record from Ryan Delmore titled “The Spirit, The Water, And The Blood”. Ryan and his songs are familiar to many worship leaders both in the Vineyard and around the world, and he has been an influential worship leader and writer in the Vineyard movement.
Ryan’s, who is from California’s Central Cost, has penned a myriad of familiar worship songs like Better Than Life, Never Looking Back, Set Me On Fire, and Let it Come.
Varietal Records describes this highly anticipated release:
Produced by friend and fellow worship leader Chris Lizotte and featuring guitarist Marc Ford, The Spirit, The Water, and The Blood is the ragged-but-true sound of a sinner saved by grace, lifting up a thankful heart to Jesus with his guitar and voice. In his debut release with Varietal, Ryan crafts simple songs with a poetic depth that invites his listeners to join him and lift their voices to commune with God.
Streams of country, rock, gospel, and folk blend together to create a unique musical backdrop upon which Ryan’s intimate worship and passionate praise are built. Ryan’s sound harkens back to that of artists like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Tom Petty while resonating with the influence of fellow worship leaders John Barnett, Chris Lizotte, and Ireland’s Brian Houston.
Ryan sat down with Kyle Campos of Our Rising Sound (http://www.ourrisingsound.com/) to discuss the new record and more. The three-part interview is here.
