This coming weekend, the Scotts Valley Vineyard will be hosting the “Authority To Heal - Vineyard Equipping Conference. Speakers will include Bob Obert and Ken Blue, and Scott Underwood will be leading worship during the conference.

Here is Pastor Bob Obert’s invitation to this event:

Dear Friends, I got involved in the Vineyard in 1985 with John Wimber and what was really attractive to me about the Vineyard was the no hype, practical approach to spirit-led teaching and and spirit-filled ministry. I was also powerfully impacted by the simple heart felt worship that was both celebrational and intimate. These wonderful things are our inheritance. They are God’s unique gift to the Vineyard to embrace and give away to the body of Christ.

The purpose of these equipping conferences is to provide a venue for ministry and good teaching that lines up with what John Wimber taught and modeled to us. There seems to be something of a spiritual need within the Vineyard movement. It could be an absence of training and equipping conferences that are rooted in the Vineyard values that we’re developed in the early 80’s. As long as there is a need, people in our mist who are seeking experiences with the Holy Spirit and the ministry of Jesus will continue to be hungry but unfulfilled. Let’s fan the flame again!

We would like to thank everyone who registered for the fall retreat for Western Region Worship. Unfortunately, due to lack of sufficient registrations to make the event viable, the members of the regional worship task force believe that it is best to cancel the retreat.

Of course we are disappointed to announce this because we were looking forward to having Dan Wilt come and share with us. We would like to thank Dan for his helpfulness and willingness to contribute to the event. We hope that we can bring him down for a different type of weekend event in our region soon.

Refunds

Any of you who have paid a deposit or the full registration fee will receive a refund in 7-10 business days. Any questions regarding refunds or anything else about the event can be directed at worship@vineyardwestern.com
